MK vs DCU Attack Buttons

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe utilizes four attack buttons, identified in the game (and also in this guide) as Attacks 1, 2, 3, and 4. The following table lists which button corresponds to each attack on both the Xbox 360 console and the Playstation 3 console. The button combinations for the Xbox will be listed first and the PS3 button combination second below.

• Attack 1 — X or square
• Attack 2 — Y or triangle
• Attack 3 — A or X
• Attack 4 — B or circle
• Block — RT or R2
• Throw — LB or L1
• Klose Kombat — RB or R1
• Rage — LT + RT or L2 + R2

Sub-Zero’s Style Moves

• Hook Punch — attack 1 — maximum damage 3%
• Ice Picked — attack 1, attack 1, attack 1 — maximum damage 13%
• Icy Upward Strike — attack 2 — maximum damage 7%
• Cold Twist — attack 2, attack 3 — maximum damage 18% and knockdown
• Upward Chill – attack 2, left + attack 4 — maximum damage 19% and pop-up
• Paused Punch — left + attack 2 — maximum damage 9% and crumple
• Lights Out — left + attack 2, attack 2 — maximum damage 16% and knockdown
• Stopped Ice — left + attack 2, attack 4 — maximum damage 14%
• Chilled Victim — left + attack 2, attack 4, attack 3 – maximum damage 23% and Knockdown
• Powered Kick — attack 3 — maximum damage 9% and Knockdown
• Ice Poke — left + attack 3 — maximum damage 2%
• Knee — attack 4 — maximum damage 7%
• Cracked in Two — attack 4, attack 3 — maximum damage 16% and Knockdown
• Champion Kicks — left + attack 4 — maximum damage 12% and Knockdown
• Low Punch — down + attack 1 — maximum damage 2%
• Uppercut — down + attack 2 — maximum damage 2%
• Low Kick — down + attack 3 — maximum damage 2%
• Reaching Low Kick — down + attack 4 — maximum damage 2%

Sub-Zero’s Super Moves

• Icy Freeze — down, right, attack 3 — no damage, encases opponent in ice
• Ice Nugget — down, left, attack 2 — maximum damage 12% and knockdown
• Cold Slide — left, right, attack 4 — maximum damage 9% and knockdown
• Ice Encounter — down, left, attack 1 — maximum damage 10% and knockdown
• Tombstone Teleport — down, left, attack 3 — no damage, only really fast enough for defensive escapes
